Here's a simple christmas design on a glass ornament, the file for the jig is also available. NOTE: I ran this jig on "quick and ugly" settings to make sure that it'd work out before spend'n too much time on it.
Download and print the STL file based off of whatever type printer/slicer you have.
Then secure the jig to the bed of the F1 Ultra.
Place your 65mm Ornament on the jig using the rounded cutout to align it. You will want to focus on the top center of the ornament, then you have two options…Laser Flat, or Curves Surface - for this file, I chose to laser flat.
To do so, you will begin with your focus on the top center and then lower your focus about 3-5 MM down depending on the size of your engraving (using the circle in the file, I was went down about 3mm.
Open the project.
The values I used were
Blue Light
85P
650S
240LPC
Bi-directional
I use these settings as they seem to clear off all the paint leaving no “mess” for me to cleanup afterwords.
Once your ornament is engraved, feel free to add a little paint, glitter or even LED lights to the inside.
