A small 10x10cm wooden piece to make someone a sweet surprise or a little gift with a lovely note.

Step1: Design
For this Design I was inspired by a stringart project I worked for my side hustle. So I quickly used some assets from the XCS Library.
Since version XCS 2.2 is a new great feature included where you can select the asset and click “Edit Compound Path” this way you can get parts of a design and use them seperately to create own.
With this feature I made the combination of flower and heart. I only added some text I imported as svg as text editing is still a pain in XCS (sorry xtool).
Step2: Laser Settings
For this project I used my other project for the risers for honeycomb with M1.
I need this as the wood is 20mm in thickness and the 1 layer is too deep for engraving then.
Step3: Coloring & Final Look
This time I added some color by using some felt markers. These are waterbased so be careful using some as these could bleed out when pressing too hard.
