Once you have downloaded and opened the design file in xtool creative space you can add personalisation before cutting.

I engraved my logo on all 4 sides but you can easily remove it by deleting the blue layer in the design file and adding your own logo or pattern.

When you are happy with your design check your processing setting and then you're ready to start cutting.

I was using the xtool D1 Pro 5w and used the following settings:

Engrave: 90% power, 100mm/s, 1 pass

Cut: 90% power, 7mm/s, 4 passes

These settings may need to be changed depending on you machine and materiel.

Step2: Cut out the design

After you have all your settings correct its time to place your materiel in your laser and start cutting.

Remember to make sure the materiel is flat and use the framing function to make sure the design fits.

Step3: Assemble the pieces

Once you have all the pieces cut it is time to assemble.

The pieces should slot together easily but you will need to add some glue to the edges of each piece as you slot them together.

Then wipe away any excess glue and leave to dry.
