Halloween is approaching so it's time to make something spooky. here's my first acrylic project using the xtool D1 Pro 5w, a 2 layer acrylic skull that can be used as a earring or keyring.
What you will need:
- 2 different colours of acrylic
- glue
- a keychain or earring hooks

Step1: Adjust size and laser settings
The size of the skull is 40x33mm but can be increased or decreased depending on intended use.
The hole in the top is 4mm which should be big enough for most key chains or earring hooks.
I used a 5w D1 Pro and cut at 100% power, 4mm/s and 5 passes but I think a slower speed would give smoother edges, this was my first acrylic project.
The design file has a red and a black layer, you just need to set one to ignore while you cut the first one then switch to a different colour materiel and cut the second one.
Step2: Glue layers together
Glue the 2 layers together using any super glue that sticks plastic/acrylic, being careful to align the two pieces correctly.
Once the glue sets add a keyring or earring hooks and your project is complete.
