Information

This little storage container can be used for organising small items and features an unusual 10 sided design. I used MDF to make the tub pictured but any 4mm material will work perfectly for this project.

The design appears complex at first but is actually relatively simple. The top and bottom are 10-sided shapes with 4x10mm slots in the centre of each side. For the sides, these are simply made of 39x50mm rectangles with tabs added to the top and bottom to fit into the slots.

These are the settings used to cut 4mm MDF using the xTool D1 Pro 5w laser.

I found the easiest way to assemble these containers is to slot all of the sides into the bottom section first then align and push the top into place. You can add some wood glue to the tabs if needed.
