Christmas is fast approaching and it is the time when you might be planning on decorations and gifts to make with your laser. Here is a simple reindeer model that I recently made using 4mm cherry plywood. This uses a similar design to the dog and lion models that can be found on my profile.

Step1: Design

The design of this reindeer is made of 8 parts that should easily slot together. There are also some engraving details on the eye, nose and feet.

Step2: Cutting and engraving

The above setting were used to cut and engrave 4mm thick veneered cherry plywood using the xTool D1 Pro 5w laser.

Step3: Assembling
Preview
All parts of this model should slot together tightly if using material of exactly 4mm thick, although glue should be added for extra strength if this model will be moved regularly.
