This Design was made using xtool library. There is a great selection to creat easily.

The first one of this business card holders I made using Illustrator. This time I only used XCS.

  1. Draw a rectangle in sizes to match business cards (mostly 55x85mm)
This is going to be a reference to get the sizing
  2. Design Sides: Get some of the icons from the library you want to use and arrange them like wanted (don't forget to merge together)
  3. Create a small rectangle witdh 10mm and height based on the material thickness you going to use. Copy and paste and align by top
  4. Use these rectangles and make again a copy of all smaller rectangles. Subtract these from the bottom part of your arranged design to create these cutouts.
  5. Bottom plate: create again a rectangle atleast with 80mm length and choose height as much you want to have as depth to place your cards later.
  6. Add the saved smaller rectangles to the bottom plate and merge together.

Here I also used the air assist to get clean edges. If needed sand down to get rid of some burning marks.
