5 studs for each day of the working week. Can be adapted in many ways
This project is really simple to make if you want a quick pair of spooky earrings. To start ensure that the cut setting is relevant for the material used.
We used veneered wood and engraved the earrings -
Resize the earrings to suit your ear shape. To do this select all the elements on each pair of earrings and move the corner to resize to suit yourself.
Once you are happy with the size, place the material in the laser and place the design over where you want it to cut using the camera element.
Once you are happy press process.
If you want to make your earrings really stand out then you can add colour.
To do this you want to make the earrigns out of MDF. Ensure th4e outline is set to cut and the picture designs are set to score. As per previous steps you can resize the earrings to suit.
Oncce you have done that and are happy process the design.
To add colour, spay the errings with white paint. This makes sure that the colours really pop when you paint them onto the wood. Allow the white to dry and then paint the designs in your choosen colours using acrylic paint or pens.
Once the cut is completely or the pain is dry turn the earrings over and add a dab of strong glue onto the back of the earring.
Add the stud to the back, ensure it is straight and won't fall whilst drying.
Allow to dry, preferably overnight. Your earrings are then complete
PLEASE NOTE: Earring findings are in the post so new pictures to show this process will be added once they arrive!
