Information

      This clamp comes in handy when you want to glue flat boards together on their edges, this simply closes them together tightly by pulling the handles outwards or apart.

Step1: Making the Pieces

Step 1) This project needs 5 pieces, these pieces are all made with xcs by creating them with the insert button. Each piece is sized so there are 2 long pieces 2 short pieces and 1 medium length piece.

Step2: Setting the Screw Holes

Step 2) The pieces that were made in step one needs screw holes these are set to be 5mm circles and are equally place in the middle on each rectangle. as you can see the 1 piece has the holes close together and the others are placed to be pivot locations.

Step 3) As you can see each hole with get a screw, they are set to become a clamp the farther way you move the handles. As per a clamp they tighten from the front shorter rectangle. Once glue is placed on the edge of the boards pulling the handles apart tighten all the boards together and can be held there until the glue dries. The pushing the handles closer together releases the clamp.
