We host Thanksgiving dinner at our house each year and try to make a little something for each guest. This year we are going to give each person a napkin holder. I might engrave each person's name along the right side of the hole to personalize each one.
This is a simple cutting project, so do a material test first to find the settings to cut through whatever material you used for this project. I used 3mm basswood but I believe you could use any material you would like that you are able to cut through.
Only do this step if you are going to personalize the napkin holder.
Use the text option and type out the person's name. Pick a font you would like to use. Turn the name 90 degrees so it is up and down and resize the name to fit inside the turkey. Use the curve option to curve the name along the right side of the hole. Reposition the name until you are satisfied where the name is inside the turkey.
Once you figured out the settings for the material and machine that you are using go ahead and cut it out. At this point you can use the napkin holder as is or you could paint them.
