Step 1 ) For this I used a graphic I had designed and was stored on my computer, brought that in with the image button. Once in the work area of XCS software the text feature was used. when you click on the text button you are greeted with HELLO this can easily be changed within the edit window.

Step 2) Now that the text feature has started I edited HELLO to the number I wanted in this case 305, this also needed a resize so that was done and was placed along the first graphic that was mentioned earlier. When placing the number it was slightly overlapped.

Step 3) Once in place the entire design was highlighted and the combine feature was then used to unite it altogether.

Step 4) Now that everything was ready to settings needed to be adjusted, this was a simple cut so the settings are straight forward. then off to the laser...

Step 5) Once the laser was complete the entire design slips out of the cut out and with 2 sided tape it is ready to be placed in the desired location, This can be on top of the door on the side of the door or in the middle of the door, either way it will display the house number quite nicely.
