A digital camo cover for airsoft magazines with a logo on top (logo not part of this project)
The design file does not include the logo on the image. To add a logo over the digital camo pattern, you will need to play with the settings for your logo file, depending on if it is a bitmap engrave or a vector engrave.
Also, the F1 only has a 4" square bed, therefore anything longer than that will require you to move the product manually or use the slide extension. This project can definitely use the slide extension, but I did not use it. I manually moved the magazine between runs.
Some of the design may overlap your magazine. If you do not want to laser engrave on the bed, you can add something underneath.
Lay the magazine in the middle of the bed (wide sides facing up/down) and focus the laser on the material.
Enable framing in XCS and place the magazine accordingly (cover as much of the magazine as possible starting at one end).
Optionally, use the F1 slide extension to cover each side of the magazine in one run.
Send the design to the printer and run it. When the run is finished, start framing again and slide the magazine down until the edge of the frame is in line with where the previous run finished. Since this is a camo print, is does not have to be exact as the design is randomized. Optionally, use the F1 slide extension to cover each side of the magazine in one run.
When the the entire side is complete, repeat step 2 for the opposite side of the magazine.
Now rotate the magazine so it is standing up on its side (skinny sides up/down). Repeat step 2 & 3 for the skinny sides.
