I made a Halloween sign that glows in the dark using Xtool glow-in-the-dark acrylic and pre-painted black 3mm MDF. It will charge with the sun during the day and glow at night!
Cut was made with Power at 65 and speed of 12. I used this picture to show a screen image of how I align my project in “engrave” mode when using black material. The small red circles are pieces of costume jewelry that I remove before processing. Obviously, you need to change to “cut” mode before processing.
Cut: Power 60 - Speed 8
2 Pieces of Yellow Glow Acrylic needed.
Please see special instructions in last tab of XCS file. The yellow acrylic must be glued to the black graveyard and haunted house before gluing to the round base to fit properly.
Also, I modified the glow design a bit (after I made the actual sign pictured) so the glow around the graveyard and house would be better aligned.
I hope you try it out!!!
