Information

Hello everyone! This is my attempt to create something completely unique from scratch (Ofcourse some inspirations from internet). Everything you see from designing shape to colors- i designed them. You will see some imperfections as i am not an expert when it comes to designing, however i tried my best using photoshop and XCS. I am always inspired by everyone in the community and today i present to you a beautiful peacock made purley using Xtool M1 Ultra (Ofcourse i used white to paint area around the eye)

This is my attempt to participate in winning Xtool P2 CO2 laser. :D I know i am late, but this took a million iteration and i just couldnt get the right design that could satisfy me.

Details are provided in the project file. This takes a lot of patience as you need to glue each cut part on the body of base cut.

Please let me know if i can make things easier, this is my first time posting.

Materials you will need
3mm Plywood sheets (5-6 sheets)
5mm Plywood sheet (1 sheet) for the base

Print the base shape and cut it.
Then print and cut multiple colored scales
Glue them as per your desire. I tried to keep light green in the center and dark on the edges.
Do this all the way till beak. Leave space for rount eyes
Glue the eyebrows and beak.
Your main peacock body is ready

Cut the Circle 5mm which will act as your base. It has an egraving for the center.
Cut the two circles - one small and one big

Also Print and Cut the feathers. I used a circular array to generate one

Glue the small circly at the center and then glue the bigger one on top
Align the feathers around the smaller cirlce as whos in the image.

Print and cut the Crest as well as leaves for the background

Place the main peacock head piece and glue it to the center on the big circle. This gives a 3d effect.

Put crest on above, you dont need to use 3. i used 3 copies. Glue them however you see fit

Fill up the gaps with those random leaves as per your desire

If you are using a bigger circle feel free to modify the array.

Finally everything comes together.

You can add some hook on the backboard. I just havent decided. I am just happy looking at it.

There are instructions in the xcs file.
