For this project, I used xTool AI to create a pumpkin. Then, using the xTool AI emboss feature, I created a depth map of the pumpkin. After that, I drew a circle around the pumpkin and applied a mask. Once that's done, you're ready to start lasering!

For this, I used a brass coin that I bought off Amazon.

Now it's time to start lasering. There are two canvases: one for the pumpkin and one for the cleaning pass. Begin with the pumpkin. Make sure to put on your laser safety glasses before starting. The first pass should take about an hour. After that, perform the cleaning pass, and you’re done!
