When you open XCS after updating to XCS 1.3, you'll be greeted with the xArt button on the lefthand side of the screen.

In my prompt text box, I type: "Die-cut sticker, Cute character sticker, white background, illustration minimalism, vector, vibrant colors, pirate, black outline, white background, colorful" to get little pictures of pirates in the shape of cute stickers with a black outline and a white border/background. I had to run it a second time to get one I liked, but I then edited the background out.

After saving the image post edit, I started designing the coin. I start with three circles. I want to make scallops around the outside of the coin, so I have a circle for the outside of the scallop and two for inner lines to frame the pirate.

Moving the outer circle away from the main design to do a Combine>Subtract to not affect the rest of the design, I create little circles in order to "scoop" out the scallops from the outer shape of the coin. Finally, I then move the scalloped outline back into place.

I run a set of 12 coins in the machine (M1). I do this to create a jig for making future coins (tutorial on this in the future).

Final shot of coins included.
