  1. All parts are cut from 3mm basswood. Start at the bottom (the red layer). Then the second layer (the blue layer), then the third layer (black flower and the bee).
  2. Then cut out de purple layer. Here we have color de wood first in pink, then mask de wood and cut out the purple layer and engrave the orange layer.  The purple layer have a kerf so you can snuck fit the face in the bee. You can also do this with the stripes. Otherwise you cut out the ouline of the bee and glue the layer on top.

  1. First we spray with spray paint all the parts and let it dry. You can choose your own colors.
  2. We start with the bottom layer. Coat it with glue, here we use transparant glue (B7000). Stick the 2nd layer on top of the bottom layer. Clamp the 2 layers.
  3. Fill the recesses of the pen holder with glue. Then place the pen holders in the glue. Hold this for a moment so that the holders are straight in place.
  4. Now we paste the third layer, the black layer. Turn the black layer over and spread glue on all the contours. Then place the 3rd layer on top of the 2nd layer and clamp it until the glue has hardened.
  5. Now stick the petals of the flower in the openings. Each leaf has its own place.
  6. We blackened the back of the bee. We stick the 2nd layer of the bee on top of the bottom layer. Spread glue on the contours of the bee. Then we apply glue to the loose stripes, face and wings and stick them in. If you have set the score when cutting these pieces you can press them in without gluing.
  7. Place the Bee where you like it. Only glue the spots of the bee on the back which sticks to the flower.
  8. Then place the Post-it in the middle of the flower.
