I had these small blocks like forever and finally figured out what to make with them. Match the color, is a way for kids to learn which color is the same and place them in the right colored spot. This is 3 layers of basswood.
I started by measuring the blocks, so i knew what size openings i needed (22x22mm)
Inserted a square and set the measurement to 22x22mm, then clicked the grid button and made rows of 4 x 5 blocks,
with 10mm in between them. Then hoovered over all the blocks and right clicked and grouped them.
Set the settings to cut and turned the P2 on and placed the image onto the material on the screen and hit process,
then the start button on the machine. I needed 2 pieces of the same cut, so repeated the same steps for the second cut.
Then i removed the grouped squares to the side, so the outer cut line was left.
(Needed the outer cut for the bottom part.) Used the same settings for the outer cut.
Once that was done, i painted the small blocks on all sides and glued one of the open pieces on the bottom part,
so i could paint the same colors in the open square spaces.
Then glued the last top layer on top.
When the glue and paint had dried, i then used the F1 to engrave the words on the top of the color box.
F1 setting, 80 power, 100 speed, blue laser.
