Engrave and cut the design. I used deep lines for engraving to make it easy to paint. This way you won't need to paint the lines themself. 

I am using small tip acrylic markers to paint. It is enough to add a small dot to all little space of this design. Here I am using white, denim blue and silver. But you can use any other color combination. (My next one will be black and gold ;) )

Once the painting has dried out, you can paint the back side too, your earrings will look more professional that way.

If both sides are dried out, use a glossy varnish, and add a layer on both sides and the edges. This way it will make the paint more glossy, and also you'll make your earrings water-resistant.

Once the varnish is also dried, you can add the earrings. On this design, there are no extra holes, so it might will be a bit of a challenge, but it will look very nice at the end.
