Father's Day is for all fathers even the ones that have left us, what better way to show how much you miss them is with a garden plaque.
Step 1) First thing this Father's Garden plaque starts with is a shape in a form of an SVG brought in from my computer, It then Is sized to the size needed. Once this was done the shapes list comes in to play and hearts are selected. These hearts are positioned on one side of the plaque.
Step 2) In this step the lettering for DAD is made using the text feature and editing the letters and picking the font from the font list. Once the style is chosen it is placed one the plaque to one side.
Step 3) Now it is time to add a little message, this is done the same way that DAD was added other than a different smaller font was used instead. This was all done with the editing features on the right side when text is high lighted.
It was also time to adjust the settings for the engravings, Everything will be engraved on the face of the plaque and the settings are as follows.
Step 4) This step the cutting adjustment are made, as you can see once in the laser machine the top film of the cast acrylic is left in place and it is engraved right through it, this acts as a masking for the paint once finished. Once the paint is applied and dried it then is removed.
