xTool PU jewellery pouch Green
I made cat earrings for a friend who has just resigned from where we both work and wanted to make a Jewellery pouch to put them in.
I wanted to personalise the pouch for her and also decided to use the design image from the earring design I did minus the hole for the jump ring area of course.
I wanted her name on the pouch along with some sort of floral or plant like design.
Her name is Vae (pronounced Vi) she is from New Zealand.
I chose to put Vae's Earrings on the pouch and used the font called Great Vibes, I used the area of the typed name which allows you to shape the font into an oval shape which I did just slightly. the reason I did this was because of the plant shape I used from the shapes panel has a slight curve to it and wanted it to all look organic and matchnicely on the pouch.
I place my cat in the middle so that there was a plant either side in which case the plant was copied, pasted and mirror imaged.
I then grouped everything and resized to suit the size of the area I wanted to score and engrave.
I then went to organise the settings by choosing jewellery pouch green and decided to stick with the settings that xTool have and have added the images for you to see along with uploading the settings.
As this is the first time using this product, it wasn't something I wanted to change the settings on.
When I went to do the framing (just loving my new machine) I set it on line so that I could see where the actual images would sit and had to resize a couple of times for it to sit nicely.
I would love to see if I can do this on my D1 Pro.
I have uploaed the file and you can change the name or wording to whatever you like obviously.
I am going to try and do some border Collie earrings and pouch based on my border Collies, hopefully it will work and I can offer files for those.
Happy creating!
