This unique lamp features a dual-sided design, with a mystical witch flying on her broomstick under a glowing full moon on one side, and the mysterious silhouette of her cat perched on a tree branch on the other.
Each scene is intricately laser-cut from plywood and hand-painted with acrylics, giving it a detailed, handcrafted feel. The transparent acrylic center, laser-engraved for precision, adds depth and a soft glow to the design.

Instruction
Step1: Design
First, the designs for all sides were created in Adobe Illustrator. One side features a witch flying under the full moon, and the other showcases her mysterious cat. The central part shows an image of the full moon, surrounded by clouds and twinkling stars. Additionally, two spacer layers were created to separate the front and back from the center. Once everything was ready, the designs were exported in SVG format for further work in xTool Creative Space.
Step2: Cutting and Engraving
After importing the designs into xTool Creative Space, all sides and spacer layers were first cut from 3 mm plywood using the settings P: 35, S: 10. Then, the central part was engraved on the 4 mm clear acrylic sheet with the settings P: 15, S: 200, Line per cm: 200.
Step3: Living Hinge
To create the living hinge of the correct length, the circumference of the prepared piece was measured.* The measurements showed 31 cm (12.2 in). Afterward, the designs from Adobe Illustrator were exported in SVG format for further work in xTool Creative Space and cut from 1 mm plywood using the settings P: 30, S: 35.
*You don't need to take these measurements, as the file is already prepared for you.
Step4: Painting
Once all the wooden pieces were ready, it was time for painting. Black acrylic paint and black glitter were mixed together and applied. A sponge brush was used for painting the edges, and a sponge roller for larger surfaces.
Step5: Gluing
After the paint dried completely, the final step was to glue all the parts together. First, glue the outer sides with the spacer layers, and then attach them to the central acrylic part (creating a sandwich of five layers). Clear Gorilla glue was used for this project, with a small spatula to evenly spread the glue across the surfaces. Once the "sandwich" dried a bit, the living hinge was attached. After waiting for the glue to fully dry, the Witch's & Cat's Full Moon Mysteries LED Light Lamp is complete!
