Information
This is "Back to School" Sign that we created for our kid and his best friend.
It includes two interchangeable wooden signs (with the use of magnets) and engraved phrases "first day of school" and "last day of school", so you can take comparison pictures. It also includes to acrylic blocks for you to write on them.
Instruction

Step1: Engraving
Preview
Start by engraving the little icons that you can see around the main part.
Also, engrave the name of the child that you are creating it for.
The design can be pre-designed in other software.

Step2: Cut & Engrave the signs
To engrave the signs, you will need 3mm basswood plywood. You can launch the machine process in doing both, as you will see both settings.
You can choose the phrases you want to include. You can process them in the software or outside of it.

Step3: Cut Acrylic
Preview
Cutting white acrylic is never easy, but trial and error helps.
I leave here my configuration for 3mm white acryclic.
It is the perfect addition to the project, as it gives post-project customization.

Step4: Glue everything together
To end the project, just stick everything together with the appropriate wood and acrylic glue.
