How to split Vector in Half in XCS
Create a Box Next to your Vector big enough to cover half of your vector.
Make a copy of the box you just made.
And then use the alignment tool to center one over the other.
This is the reason we made our copy, if we just try to subtract everything at once we loose alot of detail.
Select one of the Boxes and the interior “nose” (you will need a copy of the box for each object you are subtracting)
Use the Combine-Subtract tool (highlighted in the 2nd picture)
Now the nose is cut in half.
Select the Outline and the remaining box.
Use Combine-Subtract Tool again.
Now the Vector has successfully been split.
