      I wanted to add a personal touch to my handmade orders, something that would express my gratitude to my customers in a meaningful way. That’s when I decided to create these 'Thank You!' wooden tags. I felt these tags would be a perfect way to say thank you while matching the handmade quality of my products.

Instruction

Step1: Design the Tag

Open your design software (e.g., xTool Creative Space).
Select the "Lazy Ride Script" font to type "Thank You!" for engraving.
Add an outline around the text, ensuring it’s 5mm wide. This outline will form the outer shape of the tag, with no inner outline.
Create the Tag Shape: Using the BASIC SHAPES tool, add two circles where you want to create a hole for attaching the tag.
Place the smaller circle inside the larger one where you want the hole, then subtract the smaller one from the larger to create the hole.
Next, unite the two shapes at their overlap to form the full tag shape for cutting.

Step2: Engrave and Laser Cut

Preview

Place your basswood plywood sheet into the laser cutter.
Engrave and cut the tag outline based on your design.
Add Twine or Ribbon: Thread twine or ribbon through the hole in the tag to attach it to your orders, adding a charming, personal touch.
