Engrave and cut the wood. The settings worked best for me personally and I was also most satisfied with the depth of the engraving.

Press the individual pieces out of the sheet. As a guide, place the engraved parts of the coaster with the engraved side on the table and glue the separating pieces to the outer parts. This makes it easiest to glue the other engraved side to the middle parts.

Cut the pieces for the box and press them out of the sheet. 

Glue the outer parts one after the other to the base plate. Since they hold each other well, you can hold the box together with a rubber band at the end to dry it, but this is not necessary.
