Wife is away so cats will play, here I made a fun little gauge for the hand towel paper holder, shows when you need to refill...Let's see how long it takes her to notice when she reurns.
Step 1) This fun project starts with a circle created by the insert button, it is sized according to the size of the base of the holder, this will not be engraved t is only for framing purposes. Once this was in place a small narrow rectangle was created with the same insert button, Ths however needed to be duplicated so the array feature was used to create several.
Step 2) once the first rectangles were placed a larger one was needed at both end so again it was created from the insert button and copied and pasted and placed in position. The text was needed for the F for full and E for empty, this was done and the font was chosen and they were both put in place.
Step 3) Now that the gauge was created it was time to adjust the setting, this was set to engrave, Because this is stainless steel the D1 20w pro has no problem engraving bare stainless steel.
Step 4) Now that the laser has done it's job it was time to place it on the kitchen counter and wait for a reaction from my wife.......
