Step1: Start with a material test grid.

Begin by making a material test grid for your material.  Having never done anything on a pizza pan before, I chose to run one from 10-100% power and 10 - 200 mm/s.

I started with a shape from the XCS toolbar, sized to 5mm.  Then I selected the material test array from the application tray.  Format the power and speed settings to your desired ranges.

Step2: Design Image

Create your image design.  I chose a variety of text blocks and design elements to create a simple design.  Once you have your basic design in place, using the material test completed in the earlier step, choose the various speed and power settings for each separate design element.

Step3: Let it run!

Once all the power and speed settings have been selected, it is time to place your material on the laser bed, focus the distance, and mark the processing area, and then process the project.
