One of my wife's favourite is the cherry blossom here is a see through window ornament that lets the light through with colours.
Step 1) Here are the items needed to make this project, Mahogany wood, Spray glue, and colored cellophane pieces. Any thin wood will work for this project if you don't have mahogany.
Step 2) This starts with a design from a different software in the form of an SVG this file is brought into the work area with the image button and retrieved from the computer. A rectangle is created and is placed along the bottom to create a flat surface for placement once complete. Once in place it is united to create the new shape.
Step 3) Once the united procedure was complete the entire shape was copied and pasted to make a second one, this will make a front and a back. Now the settings are adjusted to be cut.
Step 4) Once the laser has cut out all the little bits and pieces the 2 main pieces are removed from machine, they are matched to be glued together with a front and a back. Once this is determined they are laid out on a work bench both facing up. The spray adhesive is use to spray a light coat of glue over the entire surface of both pieces. with a razor or a pair of scissors the very thin cellophane is cut to the shapes needed to cover the openings of the design. Colors are optional for example the flower is red or pink and the leaves are green. it is simple to apply the cellophane as the spray adhesive allows it to stay in place. Once you have covered all the pieces od the design the 2 main pieces are stuck together and then you have the completed project that looks goof from both sides.
