I wanted to make acrylic pet tags with their initials to look similar to the beanie baby tag
Add the heart and size it to your liking. This will be your cut setting. Add another heart and size it slightly smaller. This will be a score setting to tell you where to place the next layer. Highlight both hearts and center them. Add a circle and size it small over both hearts. This will be cut settings where you put your tag loop
Second layer to be put on top of black acrylic. Copy the entire first layer and delete the big outer heart. Change the inner “score” heart to cut. Keep the circle as a cut setting and add whatever lettering you'd like as a score setting. Add the lettering over the heart. This will be your guide to the next layer. In this example I stuck with the original TY lettering
Copy your second layer and delete everything but your letters. Change this to the cut settings
Glue the pieces together using the score lines as guides for each layer. The black will be the bottom, the red on top of the black and the white on top of the red. Add a loop into the cut circle and attach to a collar. You can even engrave the names of your pets on the back of the black layer. I made these for a friend and added her cat's names to the back
