Personalised protractor ruler templates

These personalised protractors can be customised with any picture, name or word. The file includes the example design in the picture above and a blank template with just the measurements and angle lines.
I have included the design from the example image featuring ‘Sam’ text and a monkey but also a blank version so you can create your own custom designs.
To make your own design simply place your own text or images where you would like them on the template then use the outline feature in XCS set to around 2mm. Then select the outline you just made and the outline of the protractor and select ‘unite’ in the XCS software.
These are the settings used to cut 4mm cherry plywood using the xTool D1 Pro 5w laser.
The fine ruler and angle markings should be scored make the lines are fine and precise as possible, while the numbers and any custom design elements you add should be engraved for maximum visibility.
The settings above can be used as a guide but may need to be adjusted for other materials.
