Reindeer Christmas hanging decoration

It's the time of the year to start preparing for the holiday season and this reindeer engraved ornament makes a perfect decoration to hang on the Christmas tree.
The reindeer image for this decoration was created using AI using the prompt “Black and white sketch drawing of a reindeer head”
To create the cut lines I imported the image into XCS and used the outline feature set to 3mm. Then I added the circle cutout at the top to hang the decoration.
Before cutting and engraving, you may also want to adjust the size of the design to fit your final use case.
I made this decoration using cherry veneered 4mm MDF so these settings are just enough to engrave the picture without being too powerful to burn through the veneer.
Remember I was using a 5w laser, more powerful machines will require a much lower power percentage to get a similar result.
Now your decoration is complete you can add some string or a hook and hang your new decoration on your Christmas tree.
