From the other how-to about using an Ipad to incorporate hand written files, this can be done with an Android device as well.
Step 1) Go to google play store and search for an App called Sketchbook, this will allow you to write on your screen with your finger or a stylist, the file can be then saved and transferred to XCS software. Once in the software it can adjusted to be engraved. As you can see once you have installed the free App there are several pen and brush options to give you the ability to become creative on your cell phone screen.

Step 2) Once you have created something on Sketchbook and saved it to you phone, you can transfer the file to your PC. Now you can bring the file into XCS software from your computer. I set a Rectangle around the sample file to be able to cut the engraving out. It is a FREE app and you can have endless hours of creating to use with Xtool XCS software.
