Step 1) Brought in an SVG file and immediately sized it and used the outline feature to make a border for the image.

Step 2) Once the outline was created I moved the original image out of the way, I then created a circle to add to the outline for the hole a guitar generally has. I sized it to just be smaller then the hole on the image. I move the image back to help line up the hole.

Step 3) once the new circle was in a position I was happy with I adjusted all the settings for the laser, these all will be set to cut.

Step 4) Once the laser machine was finished the parts were placed upside down on the work bench, 3M spray adhesive was used to glue the 2 part together. In this case Only the string portion of the project was spray glued. I waited the recommended 4 minutes for the glue to tack up and I flipped the pieces over and glued them together.

Step 5) As you can see the 2 parts together needed contrast so I gently stained the top layer and gave the entire project a coat of clean to protect it.

Step 6) Now that everything is dry and ready to hang I placed it on the wall to take pictures as the next step is to wrap it up and get it ready to give it as a gift.
