Engrave, cut, and paint these ice cream cone earrings to represent your favorite ice cream flavor.
Open the file in Creative Space and select 3mm basswood as the material. Secure the wood to the laser bed, perform auto measure and place the file over the area you want to cut.
Assign the parameters. Red = cut, Purple = engrave.
Send to the laser for processing.
You can paint the ice cream a single color or you can choose to paint 3 seperate colors. I wanted mine to represent 3 different flavors: strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate chip.
I used a scoring tool with a small round tip to apply the chips. Just dip it into brown paint and randomly apply to the chocolate ice cream. I didn't paint the cone as the color of the wood was a good match.
Let the paint dry and seal with Mod Podge or your favorite sealer.
Attach the earring hardware and enjoy your earrings.
