Transform a simple vector design and text into a Basketball MOM Keyring.
The basketball vector should measure 1”. Draw a circle that measures 1.05”
Center align both pieces and “Subtract at Overlap”. Resize the image to 1”
Click on the Text tool and type the letter “M”. Resize the letter to a width of 1”, the height will automatically resize. The font I used is called AcmeFont.
Duplicate the “M” and place below the basketball vector. Select all the elements and “Horizontal Align Center”.
Select all the elements and add an outline 0.09 offset distance. Uncheck the “Add inner outline for bitmap and click “Confirm”. Change the layer color to BLUE
Click on the BLUE outline and add another outline measuring 0.079, click “Confirm”. Change the layer color to RED. The file should look like the one in the picture.
Select all the elements and resize to a height of 2.75”, the width will automatically adjust.
Draw two circles:1 at 0.4” and 1 a 0.2”. Select both and choose “Subtract at overlap”.
Place the circle as shown in the picture. Make sure it is below the “V” shape.
Select the “RED” layers only and choose “Unite”. Select all the pieces and resize the Height to 2.75”, the width will automatically adjust.
The file should look like the one in the picture.

Layer Colors:
RED – Cut
BLUE – Score
PURPLE - Engrave
Paint with orange acrylic paint, let dry, then seal with Mod Podge or your preferred sealer.
Add the hardware and your done!
