For this dog I looked for a furry friend at some images for reference what I wanted. Then I used Adobe Illustrators feature to generate Icons and inserted my phrase and it gave me aome cute doggies. 
With some more definitions i got this design of the dog and imported into XCS. 

You can also use Xtools AI to generate images you coudl engrave or turn into cut paths.

For this project time depends on how many dogs you cut.

I suggest using air assist to get more cleaner cuts and purifier to make sure that the cut job doesnt smoke to much. 

Just wrap your yarn around the body of the dog and give him some more fur.
