I drew the cactus in procreate using a mono-line brush for thick strokes. Once the cactus was complete I used adobe Illustrator to image trace it. Then I put a circle around it for the border of the coaster and scaled it to be 4x4 coaster.

Once I uploaded it to XCS I used the easy set panel to set the parameters. The red layer is cut and the black layer is engrave. Then I loaded the wood into my P2 and used the cameras to align the design to the upper corner of the wood to use the material efficiently. 

Then it was time to process! Simply send the job over to the machine, click go and watch the magic happen!

Then I painted the coaster using posca paint pens and it was ready to use!
