Your XTool M1 can really do a lot! For example, cutting acrylic! How is that? The colour black makes it possible!

Step1: Cutting the earrings
Preview

Before you cut the earrings, there are a few things to consider and prepare:

  1. You can actually vary the size slightly. Remember, however, that the hole for the hooks should not be too small (if necessary, you will have to re-drill here).
  2. In the .XCS file there is also an ‘empty’ earring that you can design as you wish and, for example, personalise with a name!
  3. If you want, you can just delete the earrings you don't want to cut, so it will take less time!

  4. Prepare: Put the black acrylic in your working area and don't forget to measure / adjust the height!

Then cut the acrylic with the above settings!

Step2: Polishing

After cutting the earrings, I recommend sanding them down. Use sandpaper with a very fine grit (definitely >400).
Sand until there are really no more burrs on the edges of the earrings.

Step3: Assembly

Assembly is a somewhat exaggerated word. In this case it includes just the following steps:

  1. Attach the hooks to the earrings, which you can buy on Amazon, for example.
  2. To do this, bend open the small eyelet of the hook and then hang the earring in it. The eyelet is then bent closed again.
  3. Carefully attach the small plastic pieces which belong on the end of the hook

Find yourself a nice place to store or display the earrings. For this i got an extra for you!

Step4: Add-on: Earring holder

As a small ad-on, I have built a self-designed earring holder. The file for this is also available. In XTool Creative Space you can of course also design and engrave it as you wish!

  1. Cut the pieces with the settings above!
  2. It is finally also very quick to assemble:
    1. Simply insert the rounded part with the two openings on both sides into the base plate (fix with superglue if necessary)
    2. Then attach the two wavy parts to that rounded part.

Have fun with this build and displaying your new creation!
