Well because there are more than just myself getting close to the laser machine, and at times I may or may not see them getting close to the machine. So in saying that I made a sign I can display when the machine is operating and they know to be careful.
Step 1) This starts out with a fresh open session of XCS software, a rectangle was made using the insert button and sized to 12" x 12" . Then with the text button text was brought in and was edited to LASER IN USE with the font Ariel Bold.
Step 2) Set card stock in machine having the setting adjusted to cut all the lettering and the outside square around them
Step 3) Once the laser cut all the cuts the paper was removed from the laser and placed on the work table with the back facing up. a light spray glue was applied on the paper and affixed to the orange acrylic.
Step 4) Now this sign can be placed in view while laser is operating so other people will know it is operating and to be cautious of it.
