Money box safe with combination lock

This safe inspired money box features an opening door with fully functioning combination lock so only you have access to the valuables inside.
To make this project you will need 4mm thick material and you may wish to use some wood glue for extra strength if you have some available.
The main design of this safe is a simple box joint cube only with a door and hinges on one side.
The door features a functioning combination lock and you choose the combination during the assembly process.
These are the settings used to cut 4mm MDF using the xTool D1 Pro 5w laser.
These are the settings for engraving the numbers on the combination dials.
The main side panels of the safe simply slot together like a normal box but you must remember to insert the door into the small hinge cutouts in the in the top and bottom panels, this must be done before the top is secured in place.
Once you have all sides and the door assembled, you now need to add the combination lock.
To so this you will need to view the images above to add the pieces in the correct order. Remember that the number at the top of each dial when the rear lock is in the open position will determine your secret combination code.
