Create a rectangle using the draw tool. be sure to set it to ignore. You are just going to use this as a guide to put your image on. You don't want to engrave this rectangle.

Add an image or insert your text. Use the arrange tool to center it on your rectangle. Set this item to engrave.

Find the depth of the item by finding the depth (use the Distance button to set the depth). Also set your material to PU leather. You might want to engrave on the inner part of the bible around the edge to make sure the settings for power, speed, and passes are going to work before you actually engrave. Also be sure to frame before doing the engraving.

Engrave your image. After it is complete, use a dry cloth to gently wipe away the charred material.
