Information

Probably it would be easier with the new M1 Ultra, but I have a simple M1, so I had to paint by myself. :) You can try this too, it's a super-easy project, and can be made in millions of color. :) Have fun!

Step1: Cut the design

Download and use the design file I attached; use the provided settings, and cut the design.

You can adjust (make bigger or small ones), just make sure that the small hole at the top is big enough to set the earrings. You can ungroup the design and make that hole bigger or smaller if needed. (I put the small hole to different layer so it will be easier for you to adjust)

Step2: Paint the design

I started with the black, then added different colors to the remaining parts.

Also, I suggest you to add black to the back side as well.

Attached a picture about the used acrylic markers, but you can use different markers or paint.

Step3: Add varnish to both sides

Once the paint completely (!) dried (should be in a few minutes), add varnish to both sides. I used glossy one, it looks great on this butterfly

Add the jump rings and the earring hooks to finish your project.

You can adjust the size, colors, or even the settings, it looks great in natural wood color as weel. Also, you can change the settings to cut instead of scoring, if you do not like to paint.

Share the picture, if you made it!
