Information
This bookmark features a Steve Jobs portrait and one of his famous motivational quotes making it perfect for studying.
I made the pictured bookmark from 1.6mm laminated acrylic but the file can be used with any material to you can use any coloured acrylic or wood.

Step1: Design
Preview
To make this design I found a Steve Jobs picture online and used the trace feature in XCS to create a vector for better engraving. Then I typed out the quote with 1-2 words per line to fill the bookmark shape.
Next, select the image and text and use the outline tool set to around 3mm.

Step2: Cutting settings

These are the settings used to cut 1.6mm acrylic using the xTool D1 Pro 5w laser.

Step3: Engraving settings
Preview
These are the settings used to engrave the white surface of laminated acrylic, if you are using non-laminated single colour acrylic these settings may need to be adjusted.
