Information
There are those that worship coffee as the Nectar of the Gods! They can't function without coffee to start their day! This design is for them! It shows the chaotic nature of starting a day with a simple, yet hectic maze with dead ends that note some feelings a coffee enthusiast would have without starting out with that hot cup of liquid energy!

Step1: Notes before Starting

There is one canvas included with this. Blue and Green areas are to be engraved. The color variation is to establish which is the top (Blue) and bottom (Green) of the pattern. This will make sense in the next step. The Yellow line is set to no output and is just there as a guide to use for the area that will be engraved total.

I have a certain method I use for my tumblers. While some may find this a bit off as it takes longer, I have found that it turns out so much cleaner. See the notes in step two for this process.

I did this on the F1 but I don't see why it can't be done on other machines. If you do this on the F1, you will have to do it in two parts - The top (the maze) and the bottom (The coffee cup, coffee word, and the finishing arrow). Make sure that you DO NOT rotate your tumbler when you go and reposition it to engrave the bottom.

Feel free to replace the coffee cup and the word “Coffee” with a different item to represent the drink of choice to start the day. Had someone ask to put a Red Bull in there since that is how they start. So I have done this too.

Step2: F1 Process to Cut

First select the bottom part (Green) of the engrave and set the output to off. Select the top part (Blue) output to on. Set the top part in the white area of XCS.

You will want to engrave your tumbler with the Blue Light settings first. Once you have done that, then - WITHOUT MOVING OR REPOSITIONING YOUR TUMBLER - run it again with the same settings but instead of Blue Light, do it in IR mode. Keep in mind that if this is a blue tumbler or of the blue family of colors, you will want to run the IR mode twice to get a good deep clean of the engraving.

Once you have engraved the top part (Blue), reposition your tumbler and then select that part on the screen and set the output to off. Select the bottom part (Green) and turn the output on. Position the bottom part (Green) to be on the screen in the white area and run a Framing to make sure of alignment. You will notice some overlap with your previously engraved portion but that should not be very much and is only because of the steam coming off the cup in the pattern. Be sure to set your engrave back to blue light again and then to IR for the 2nd (possibly 3rd if blue) pass to clean up the engrave.
