This dopamine doorbell, featuring a bronze bell, generates clear and melodious sounds. These pleasing tones stimulate the release of dopamine in your brain, resulting in feelings of joy and happiness. You can design the appearance of the dopamine doorbell yourself. Choose your preferred color, pattern, and material to craft a one-of-a-kind doorbell. Each interaction between the bronze bell and round bronze bead will create a personal memory just for you.
Prepare the materials as illustrated.
Place the plywood sheets in the machine as illustrated. Open the project file on XCS, select Refresh under Snapshot preview on the right side, then select the ruler icon to auto-measure the material thickness. Select the objects to be laser engraved and cut, and select the red dot and black dot at the bottom left respectively to check whether parameters are set. Then select Go to process at the bottom right to start processing.
Note: Before laser engraving and cutting, you can cover the surfaces of the plywood sheets with a layer of masking tape. This can prevent dust produced during processing from sticking to the surfaces.
Take out the cut-outs.
Apply glue to the backs of the upper cover's components, then attach these components to the lower cover one by one according to the engraving marks on the lower cover.
To enhance the texture of the wood grain, apply wood polish to the upper cover.
Apply glue to the groove in the base board, place the cut-out hook upright in the groove, hold the hook in place, and wait for the glue to dry.
From the outside, insert the screw into the round hole in the base board. On the other side of the round hole, place the plastic gasket onto the screw. Place the bronze bell close to the gasket. Using a Phillips screwdriver, tighten the screw to secure the bell to the base board.
As illustrated, thread the string through the hole of the round bronze bead from one side, and pull it out from the other side. Tie a knot at the end of the string close to the larger hole of the bead.
Hang the other end of the string on the hook. Adjust the string to an appropriate length, so that the top of the bronze bead is level with the edge of the bell. Then, tie a knot to secure the bronze bead in place, and cut off the excess string with scissors.
Apply glue to the back of the cover, place the cover into the base board as illustrated, and press the cover for 5 seconds to secure it.
