Back when I was a kid, we used to have these 1 slide puzzles of all kinds of different images, we played with these things for hours so I figured I would bring back some memories by making one of them.
Step 1) brought in an image to be engraved from the computer and the image button, then a rectangle was created to the size desired.
Step 2) in this step we take the new rectangle and copy and paste it to make a couple more, one of these will be enlarged by just a slight amount to create a border.
Step 3) This step has the newly created border grouped together and another small square, this square is duplicated several time using the array feature to make all the puzzle pieces. once the array has placed 6 rows across and 6 row down one in the corner is deleted as it is not needed.
Step 4) Now we group the 35 new small square as one piece and move it in the center of the border. to line it up perfectly the alignment tool is used by selecting vertically and horizontally.
This step looks after all the settings for the D1 20w pro, as you can see the image is set to engrave and all the other parts are set to cut.
Step 6) in this step the image is placed right over top all the little square and centered to the border, a second large square is there for the bottom which the border will be glued to.
Step 7) once the laser had done all the engraving and cutting the small thin border was glued to the bottom part of the puzzle, this will allow the 35 pieces to stay within the play area. Once this was done the puzzle pieces that are now engraved are placed into the spot and mixed up or a finished puzzle the fun can begin.
