Information
Add some personality to your cooler or lunch bag with this cute "It's The Beach Life For Me!" charm. It's a combination of cut, score, and engrave. Leave it natural wood or color with acrylic paint.

Step1: Prepare Wood and Laser File

Secure the wood to the honeycomb. Open the file in Creative space. Place the file over the area of the wood that you want to cut. Select 3mm basswood and perform the automeasure.

Step2: Prepare for the Laser

This file has 3 layers, Red = Cut, Blue = Score, and Purple = Engrave. Assign the parameters as listed and send to the laser for processing.
Once the project is complete remove from the laser and pop out the cut pieces.

Step3: Paint and Assemble
Preview
This project looks great left in its natural state, or you can paint it as I did for a more colorful look. I used acrylic paint.
Finish it off with some twine and a yellow wood bead. Attach to a cooler or lunch bag and enjoy your work.
