Step1: Open in XCS and prep for laser
Preview
  • Open the file.
    • Because I have an M1 i'm limited on size so this is a fairly small door hanger. If you have a bigger machine feel free to resize to your liking
  • Resize the whole image by clicking it and dragging the corners diagonally
  • Once you have the size you like, right click on the text, copy, paste, and set to “cut”
  • Auto meausure your material and send to your the laser

  • Paint your skeleton
    • I used spray paint for both the skeleton and the letters
    • I used a paint pen to fill in the tiny drips of the letters that did not cut out.
  • Glue your letters within the scored lines
