  1. On your browser Search “free commercial back pack” . Our image was sourced from https://pixabay.com/ 
  2. Open xtool Creative Space and click on the “Image button” to import the image that you just downloaded.

  1. Select the Image and choose the option to “Trace image”.
  2. Adjust the various parameters : Fuzziness Threshold, Denoising and Smoothness to ensure you get the level of detail that you require.
  3. When you are satisfied with the level of detail seen on the preview, choose “Save”

  1. Isolate the trace results and move the original image from the canvas work area.
  2. Select the trace and choose the option “Outline” 
  3. Choose an “offset distance” that you desire and click “ok”
  4. Create the space for the keyring 
    1. Select the outline you just created and create a circle and choose Unite
    2. Create a smaller circle and place at the center of the larger circle , select both the Outline and smaller circle and choose “Subtract at Overlap”

Step4: Select Settings for the Design

  1. Select the entire design and resize it to the dimensions that you desire. 
  2. Choose your desired material
  3. Select the Outline and any other areas that you want cut and set to Cut
  4. Select the different areas of the design and choose to engrave or score based on your desired effect

  1. Make your item special by adding the child's name. We added The Name Andy - We used a commercial-free handwriting font (Sunny Spells)  found at https://www.fontspace.com/sunny-spells-font-f68393
  2. Decorate it with imagery. We used an icon from xTool Creative Space.
